Last year, a record breaking 90,000 people came out in force to celebrate Fairfield City Council's Cabramatta Moon Festival.
The Moon Festival or Mid-Autumn Festival, is the second most important festival in the Chinese calendar, after the Chinese New Year Festival, with it's beginnings dating more than 3,000 years during the Zhou Dynasty.
The festival is recognised as one of Sydney’s largest Asian celebrations. People from all parts of Sydney and different cultural backgrounds take part to celebrate the ancient Moon Festival tradition. Click here to learn more about the Legend of the Moon Festival.
